NEW ALBUM
STILL RISING
released September 22, 2022!
Available via Bandcamp and all streaming services NOW!
"Issued under the moniker Of the Sun, this deeply personal album contains a blend of wistful, pretty folk songs, catchy alt-country-flavoured foot-tappers, and the type of
looped vocal tracks she has been experimenting with for years."
" Justin's cerebral poetry and Marian's beautiful, ethereal vocalizations unfold before an ever-shifting, trippy backdrop to stoke the fires of what can be achieved in multimedia performance. Awesome!"
- David, Meriidian audience member

SOME DAYS
The rains fell. Marian recorded the song in front of her mares and then the rains came down again. The lyrics remind us that life is change and all emotional states are temporary. This is a common human connection, one we can all relate to.

WRONG WAY
Three Meridian performances aside, the following two
live videos are taken from Marian’s very first Of the Sun show - a ‘Stirling Social’ house concert at her former home on April 29th, 2018 - at which she performed.
The lyrics to Wrong Way concern a willingness to follow one's own path and trust in the journey.

WE ARE LOVE
Another live video taken from Marian’s very first
Of the Sun show - a ‘Stirling Social’ house concert at her former home on April 29th, 2018 - at which she performed her brand new material before an audience for the first time. Despite the intimacy of the surroundings and small (though sold out) attendance, it was understandably a massive event for Marian and for all present.
The lyrics to We Are Love concern an understanding that journeying inwards gives us the gift of our own limitless love.
